Commentaire : Regent's Garden is located in a residential area on the right bank of Paris. It has a unique history. Many bistros, shops and markets are only steps away. The staff is very pleasant and helpful. We were able to walk to the Arc de Triomphe, Grand Palais and Musee du Louvre. The metro to Versailles is 2 blocks away. Paris is a beautiful city and the Regent's Garden is a perfect place to stay. A very good value for the money. I highly recommend it!

Commentaire : Very charming hotel close (10 min walk) to the Arc de Triomphe. Staff is very kind and efficient. Buffet breakfeast is excellent (which is hard to find in Paris), with Bio products. I had a superior room, which was very comfortable and nicely decorated. The only drawback was its proximity to the Café beside the hotel (noisy). Next time I will choose a room with garden view (the garden is superb! a peaceful location in the center of Paris). 08-Oct-2009 - 10-Oct-2009

Commentaire : I found the hotel in the magazine National Geographic Traveler, then booked online. I was not disappointed. I called a couple of times prior to leaving on the trip and the reservations person was more than helpful. She was even, honestly, pleased that we were staying there. Upon arrival the staff met us at the entrance and while my wife and I were filling out the appropriate paper work they took our luggage to our room. Quaint and elegant describes this Best Western's property. A beautiful sitting room is in close proximity to the reception area where you can relax in the afternoon after touring classic Paris. I rate an establishment on two things. Cleanliness and staff. Both are 5 star. Emanuele, Maria and all the other fine folks made us feel like family. They were tolerant of our halted high school French and worked extra hard to practice their English (especially Maria). During our four day stay we all became good friends. The hotel is located in the "high rent" district with several fine restaurants within walking distance. The metro is at the Etoile and is a bit of a walk but great little side walk cafes can be used as way stops. We had a grand time and when we return to Paris will definitely book with the Regent's Garden. A plus

Commentaire : My husband and I stayed here in August, and I can't say enough good things about this hotel! The staff was very friendly and helpful (for example, found us a doctor when most are out of town) and the service was excellent. They spoke excellent English but encouraged us to speak French--and were very tolerant of our mistakes! The hotel is charming! It was converted from a mansion (a gift from Napoleon III to his doctor) to a tasteful, intimate hotel and has been recently remodeled. Our spacious room overlooked the garden and had a large modern bathroom. The bed was large and very comfortable with superior linens. Breakfast in the lovely private garden was one of the delights of our stay! The hotel is near a Metro station and the Arc de Triomphe, with many restaurants and shops nearby. A bakery and market are right across the street, pharmacy on the corner, post office three blocks away. The area is residential/small business, so we were not surrounded by other tourists. We wouldn't stay anywhere else in Paris and hope to visit with our friends at Regent's Garden again soon! Date of stay August 2009

Commentaire : My husband and I stayed at the Regents Garden in Paris for the first 4 days of our honeymoon. Upon arrival, we were upgraded to a lovely suite. We had arrived early due to the overnight flight and were completely exhausted. Incredibly, they had our room ready for us at 10am. Our entire stay was lovely. A full buffet breakfast was offered in the dining room, but generally eaten outside in the beautiful courtyard behind the hotel. The concierge was excellent, kindly helping and encouraging me with my fumbling French, though always ready with the English words when my French failed me. Our room was beautiful--a bedroom with a comfortable king-size bed with an adjoining sitting room. The bathroom was also quite nice and included a large, soaking tub and a glassed-in shower. Overall, a wonderful stay in a charming hotel. We can't wait to return!

Commentaire : This really is a charming hotel. The service and location is excellent. We stayed in january when it was very cold so it was important to have a few nice restaurant in very close proximity. These were mostly frequented with locals rather than tourists which is always a good sign (Try the galvacher which is only a few yards away). The room was nice and had facilities such as a free soft drinks mini bar and bathrobes. The Breakfast room was elegant and the little garden at the back was very charming. will be back on my next visit to Paris i would imagine.

Commentaire : Super Hotel recently refurbished to a very high standard. Comfortable with friendly helpful staff. Walking distance to Metro and main shopping streets. Car parking and small garden which is unusual. Would be great to have breakfast in the garden in Summer. Quite and peaceful yet in the middle of Paris. Went for New Year which was great.

Commentaire : The Best Western Premier Regent's Garden Hotel was wonderful. We spoke very little French, but the staff all spoke English. The hotel was clean, with new bathrooms and a large shower. The staff was also terrific, making reservations for us for dinner, tours and the train. We loved Paris, and we loved the Premier Regent's Garden Hotel!
